Torch Energy is actively involved in all facets of the upstream energy business. Over the years, Torch has acquired, developed, managed and operated interests in over 8,000 wells. These activities have been conducted in most producing regions of the United States, both onshore and offshore.
Torch Energy's midstream asset base includes 57 gas gathering systems and 567 miles of pipeline. Midstream activities include natural gas gathering, treating and processing and crude oil, natural gas and specialty chemicals marketing and trading.
Torch provides oil and gas services to the energy industry through Torch Energy Services, Inc (TES). TES manages the day to day operations of Torch's oil and gas assets and provides strategic, operational, financial and regulatory reporting services for a variety of Torch-affiliated and independent companies.

The Houston offices of Torch house the private art collection of company founder and Chief Executive Officer, J.P. Bryan.
