Torch Collection - Visions of the West

The Torch collection spans a period of 2,500 years and is considered the world’s largest, private collection of Texana. JP Bryan, CEO and Founder of Torch, began collecting art of Texas and the American Southwest in the 1960s. Since that time, he has amassed 10,000 pieces, including artifacts, books, documents, maps, paintings and  drawings. The purpose of the collection is to illustrate the vision, courage, integrity and entrepreneurial spirit with which the state of Texas and the American Southwest were founded.
