Torch is currently involved in three segments of the energy business:

Torch operates in these business segments through a variety of subsidiary companies.

Torch Energy is actively involved in all facets of the upstream energy business. Over the years, Torch has acquired, developed, managed and operated interests in over 8,000 wells. These activities have been conducted in most producing regions of the United States, both onshore and offshore.

Torch Energy's midstream asset base includes 57 gas gathering systems and 567 miles of pipeline. Midstream activities include natural gas gathering, treating and processing and crude oil, natural gas and specialty chemicals marketing and trading.

Torch provides oil and gas services to the energy industry through two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Permian Basin Well Services, LP (PBWS) and Torch Energy Services, Inc (TES). TES manages the day to day operations of Torch�s oil and gas assets and provides strategic, operational, financial and regulatory reporting services for a variety of Torch-affiliated and independent companies. PBWS is a Permian Basin - based well servicing company with five well service workover rigs, two reverse units and associated fishing tools and support equipment.
