Midstream Activities
Through its affiliate, Torch Energy Services, Inc. (“TES”) (formerly Torch Operating Company), TEAI provides oil and gas operations services. TES currently operates approximately 50 wells for TEAI and subsidiaries. In addition, TES manages operations for Torch Midstream (see more on Torch Midstream). Torch and affiliates are active in the midstream space in a variety of capacities: owning and operating natural gas gathering, transportation and treating and processing assets, marketing natural gas, crude oil and natural gas liquids and, more recently, developing natural gas storage assets. The midstream effort at Torch is led by Randy Ziebarth.
Torch’s midstream interests are held in two subsidiaries: Quivira Partners, L.P. (“Quivira”) and Escondido Gas Storage, LLC. (“Escondido”).
